Their FAQs explain how they have calculated final placings and BasketballSUSSEX are now reviewing this to determine how this works for our own competitions. Our League Republic website will  have all seasons hidden whilst we do this as changes are in "real time" and we do not want anyone making assumptions as to our Final League Winner and Runner-up positions until it's all confirmed and double-checked. There are 145 games to update, which will take some time.

We are aiming to have everything published by Thursday 9th April - 2 weeks from now. This also allows time for the Management Committee to discuss and agree everything, including considerations for next season.

BasketballSUSSEX await BE's advice regarding their policy on how final NBL tables will be concluded before making any decision for our own competitions. All League Republic fixtures are being marked "postponed" for now. Our Finals event scheduled for 16th & 17th May will need to be cancelled; it is unknown what alternative options may be available at this time.

13 March - Basketball England have suspended all basketball games and activities with effect 9am 14/03/20 for 2 weeks - this includes affiliated leagues like BasketballSUSSEX. Clubs have been notified and League Republic updated to show all games "postponed" during the specified time frame.

10 March - The Management Committee met this evening and discussed the different options and measures we may need to take as the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation develops. For now, we are following Basketball England advice and continuing with our competitions, Play-offs & Cup Semi-finals, and Finals event as normal. Should the need arise, the Management Committee have agreed that certain league rules will need to be relaxed, and schedule dates changed - we will announce these changes when necessary and keep this page updated + post information on our social media channels Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
